The pandemic has brought disaster to our lives, not just in our nation but worldwide. Community quarantine is one of the solutions of the government to study this crisis and to minimize interactions that cause the spread of the said virus, which is COVID-19. When that protocol was implemented, there were many lessons learned, realizations made, and experiences that I have encountered because of the community quarantine.
One of the things that I experienced was not being able to go out and have fun with my friends. I consider myself a sociable person who wants to socialize with others and go out for shopping and fun, but as the community quarantine is implemented, I now realize that the things I thought could make me happy will be the total opposite as I experience the crisis of the pandemic. I am now an avid bookworm person who loves to read rather than have fun with friends and go out shopping. The second experience is that of my family. I am not that close to my family and I never had a long conversation with them because for me it was awkward, but as community quarantine happened, I now realize how important a healthy conversation with your family is because it is good for a member’s mental health.

We always learn from the things that we do that we thought were healthy and good for us, but because of this crisis, I also realized that there are so many important things that I have not yet done and that I should do them in order for me to grow up, because every realization, experience, and learning that you gained yesterday will have a contribution to your future.
“It’s not wrong to have realizations. The wrong one is that even if you already have realizations in life, you tend to ignore them”
